James Cleveland Kirksy Sr.( J C )

Was born 12/29/1932 to the union of Ben and Hattie Kirksy.

He was one of 9 children All who proceeded him in death.

J C Accepted Christ  at a early age. He attended Charles H Brown high school in Springhill Louisiana class of 1954. He joined the Army at age 19 after serving his country. He located to Argo Illinois where he meet and married Lourena in 1975 He worked at Reynolds aluminum and worshipped at Argo Temple Church of God in Christ under Elder Wheeler  Parker until retirement when he moved back to Cullen with his wife Lourena.

Where they joined holy temple church of God in Christ under Elder Bobby Ray Washington and served as the chief administrator also was on the board of the Haynesville district credit union under superintendent Woodrow Davis. He also drove the Head Start bus for Webster perish for 12 years . He loved playing the guitar and watching Christian television . fish and chicken

The lord called him home on 1/8/2020  2 children preceded him in death Pearl Taylor and Anthony Brantley

He leaves to cherish his memory His Wife Lourena

His right hand and confidant Betty Lee Faye  Smith  6 Kids James Kirksy Jr  Cassandra (Darryle) Jenkins  ,Belinda Bennett , Cynthia Kirksy, Kasey and Corey Penlton .
18 Grandkids 30 Great Grandkids and 6 Great-great grand kids A host of nieces and nephew a special nephew Joseph Manning(Faye)  Special niece Dorothy Robinson and a extended Family and Friends and love ones.
