Robert Lee Nelson (Preacher)  was born on October 11th, 1955, to the late Theola Nelson-Gill & Jimmy Lee Harris in Plain Dealing, La. He united with Christ at Collins Chapel Baptist church at an early age with his family and continued his religious beliefs.

Robert Lee (Preacher or Unc. to most of us), He loved his family up foremost, His favorite hobbies were going hunting, fishing, and spending time with his bog Big Boy and the horses. He loved to play cards and Domino's. He was also an avid music lover  He was known for his quick wits, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He loved socializing; he was no stranger to anyone, And no one was a stranger to him. Most of all, Preacher enjoyed spending time with those closest to him.

Robert Lee (Preacher) was United in holy matrimony to Vivian Cook in 1995 but blessed with each other 37 years, they lived in Vivian, La. He was a loving husband, and father of (6) children, (3) bounce children. He had (9) kids total. He was called home at the age of 65.

Proceeded him in death, (2) sons Ronderick Nelson, Rondell Nelson, (2) brothers Charles Gill, , Irving L Harris (Eric ), (3) sisters  Myrtis Nelson Jannie Nelson-Brown, Mary Jean Thomas.
