Obituary

On Monday, September 4, 2023, hearts were burning and
eyes were watering from loved ones and friends due to the
the sudden death of a loyal and devoted father, grandfather,
uncle, cousin, and friend, Brother Tyrone
Alexander
.
Tyrone Alexander was born to the late Ordia and Maxine
Alexander on October 17, 1973. He was the second of two
children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ordia and Maxine
Alexander, sister, Cynthia Alexander, and daughter, Kyra
Roberson.

At an early age, he accepted Christ and joined the Holland
Grove Baptist Church. Tyrone was a 1992 graduate of
Arcadia High School. For 30 years, Tyrone was employed at
Lincoln Sheet Metal, and in February of 2023, the company
went out of business. Tyrone was most recently employed
at Gulf State Oilfield Services.

Tyrone was affectionately known for his mechanical skills
by many people who loved to call on him for service. The
job was never too big for him to take on; whatever he could
find his hands to do, he could get it done.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his special friend,
Alana Pugh; daughter, Ty'Reneshia Coleman; sons,
Tyron Alexander and Ty'Monyea Abney; granddaughters,
Railyn and Rayne; nieces, Natasha Alexander and Sicely
Cockerham; nephews, DeAndre Alexander and Rickey
Cockerham, all of Arcadia, LA; and a host of aunties,
uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
