Ms. Eula Hildreth was born March 30, 1933, to the union of Edmond and Georgia Woods Manning.  She was preceded in death by twenty-three siblings.  On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, she answered a call, in which we all must answer.

Eula was a member of the Dolly Chapel CME Church where she served as Usher President, Choir Member, Stewardess and Mother of the Church.

She was a 1953 graduate of Woodson High School in Haynesville, LA.  After high school, she married William "Strik" Hildreth and became stepmother to Willie "Sandy" Curry.  After five years of marriage, God bless their union with one daughter, Carolyn Sue.

Eula loved to plant flowers, cooking, and eating FRIED CHICKEN! She was employed at Edmont-Wilson for numerous years and worked for Ted and Norma Ware as their household manager.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  devoted daughter, Carolyn H. Tyson; grandson, William "Brock" Tyson (Shani); granddaughter, Ce'Tera "CeCe" Tyson; two great-grandchildren, Karsyn Tyson and Camden Tyson; four step-grandchildren, Dominic Curry, Andrea Curry, Shanae Evans and Whitney Evans; five step great-grandchildren; step daughter-in-law, Linda Curry; Special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
