Reynoldo Pelly Sabal was born July 16, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. As a young man he moved to California. There he met the love of his life, Crisie Mae Mingo. They married and returned to Ringgold where they built a home and a beautiful life together.
Reynoldo proudly served our country in the United States Army for twenty seven years. Sabal, as he was called, fought in the Vietnam War and served multiple deployments overseas. His quiet and firm leadership skills complemented his responsibilities as Master Sargent.
Whether in times of peace or war, whether at home or abroad, Reynoldo embodied the definition of a hero. He was admired for his courage, outstanding achievements and noble qualities. He was a loving husband, gracious parent, affectionate grandparent, trusted provider, wise counselor and extraordinary man.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife and dear parents.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Betty Glover (Eddie), two sons, Stanley Henry and Louis Henry (Cheryl); four grandchildren, Shundra Holland Moss (Ed), Jason Holland, DaShayla Henry, and Melvetra Henry; four great-grandchildren, Devin Moss, Jazmin Moss, Ja'Braiden Turner and Brysen Henry; his beloved army family, Joseph and Donnetta Trahan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
