Mother Mae Lee White , On Friday, March 18, 2022 at 7:38 p.m., transitioned to her new heavenly home at Willis Knighton Pierrmont (Post Acute Medical Hospital), Shreveport, LA.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Wiley Eason, Sr. and Ethel Webb Eason,  husband, LT White, Sr. two sisters, Alice Eason and Bernice Lucas, one brother, Wiley Eason, Jr., and one grand son, Lamont .

Mother Mae Lee was born on January 20, 1932. She accepted Christ at an early age, uniting with Mt. Pleasant B.C., Shongaloo, LA. After relocating to Cullen, LA, she united with First Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until her health prevented her from attending. She served on the Usher Board, Mission Department and attended Prayer and Bible Study and she was Mother of the church.

She worked for forty-two (42) years at Springhill Medical Center in the dietary department. She enjoyed cooking large meals for her family especially on holidays. She also enjoyed cooking for others. She was well known for her dressing, German chocolate cakes, pound cakes and especially fried apple pies.

She leaves to cherish her memories: five (5) children, Doris, Dianne, LT, all of Cullen, AL; Michael (Easter) White and James White, Garland, TX; nine (9) sister-in-laws; four (4) brother-in-laws; eight (8) grand children; nine (9) great-grand children; many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.
