Obituary

Kimilee Kwanda Henderson Douglas was born on August
2, 1979, to Barbara Henderson and the late Frank Armstrong.
Kimilee departed this life on Sunday, April 17, 2022.

"Pooh," as she was affectionately known to her family and friends,
accepted Christ at an early age. She worked many years in the
home health profession.

Pooh was preceded in death by her sister, Valene Johnson; her
father, Frank Armstrong; her beloved stepfather, Jerry Johnson,
Sr.; her brother, Gary Tyler; her grandfather, T.R. Wilson; and her
best friend, Shonda Fields.

Pooh was a very caring and loving person. Her family was always
number one in her life. She was just a phone call away when you
needed her.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving husband,
James Douglas, Sr.; her loving mother, Barbara Johnson; her
grandmother, Essie B. Henderson; two daughters, Jasmine
Douglas and Jamesheia Douglas; three sons, James Douglas, Jr.,
J'Veon Henderson, and J'Merius Douglas; six sisters, Denise
Johnson, Cheyenne Johnson, Barbara Johnson, Christina
Johnson, Cassandra Griffin, and Temekia Tyler; seven brothers,
Magal Johnson, Justin Johnson, T.R. Johnson, James Henderson,
Jerry Johnson, Jr., Marcus Tyler, and Gilbert Tyler; mother-inlaw, Brenda Douglas; three aunts, Minnie (Willie) Hampton,
Darlene Wilson, and Shirley Wilson; four uncles, John Robert
Henderson, Jimmy Burnette, Ivory Burnette, and Ray Charles
Henderson; three sisters-in-law, Alice Kendrix, Iretha Williams,
and Yvette Douglas; brother-in-law, Willie Douglas; her favorite
cousin, Vickie Wilson; best friend, Don Owens; and a host of other
relatives and friends.
