Kenneth Howard Greenard, also known as "K-CO," was born February 16, 1952, to the late
George (Honey) Greenard and Glennie Mae Hawthorne Greenard in Cotton Valley, LA.
He joined Wesley Grove CME in Cotton Valley, LA, at an early age. He visited various churches in
Springhill, LA, but Wesley Grove CME remained his home church.
He attended school in Cotton Valley and later attended Charles H. Brown High School, graduating
from Springhill High School in 1970.
He married Anita Holland, July 4, 1980, and to this union, one son was born.
Kenneth was a self-trained, master carpenter. His work is displayed all over Louisiana, Texas, and
Michigan.
Preceding him in death are his father, mother, three brothers, father and mother-in-law, numerous
uncles and aunts, many cousins, and other relatives.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of forty-two years, Anita; two sons, Chavis (Lakeisha)
Greenard of St. Ann, MO, and Christopher Bankhead of Fort Worth, TX; two sisters, Tocha
(Raymond) Rogers, of Taylor, MI, and Shenitta (Chet) Stocker of Columbus, OH; one aunt, Bernice
Jordan of California; three sisters-in-law, Rita (Don) Myers of Springhill, LA, Regina Holland of
Springhill, LA, and Jo Ann Holland of Shreveport, LA; two brothers-in-law, Terry (Denise) Hoof
of Cullen, LA, and Frederick Simpson of Shreveport, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, beloved
classmates of 1970, many friends, and other relatives.
