Kathy Deloris Randle Harris, beloved daughter of Horace Randle, Sr. and Stella James Randle, was born on December 2, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was the youngest of eight children. On August 2, 2024, she entered into eternal rest at VCU Health System in Richmond, Virginia.
Kathy was educated in the public schools in Louisiana. She was a graduate of Haynesville High School. Kathy was employed at NASA at Wallops Island, Virginia for over thirty years. She was a part of the Union for Versability at NASA. Throughout that time, Kathy was also employed at Matthews Market and Tyson Foods. She was a dedicated and hard worker.
Kathy received Christ at an early age and attended Colquitt Freewill Baptist Church of Colquitt, Louisiana. She cherished her personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
One of her greatest joys came from cooking for her family, friends, and her children's friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Horace Randle, Sr.; and four brothers, Johnny James, Jimmy Lee Randle, Augusta Randle, and Terry Randle.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her mother, Stella Randle of Haynesville LA; daughters, Kentasha Harris Wyche (Zell "Z" Wyche) of Jacksonville, FL and Shashonnie Harris Sullivan (Milton "Mann" Sullivan) of New Church, VA; four grandchildren, Shamar Bowen, I'Lijah Bowen, Sey'Quan Harris, and Miliya Sullivan; two brothers, Jerry Ray James of Haynesville, LA and Horace Randle, Jr. Of Tampa FL; one sister, Carolyn Grisby and favorite brother in-law, Charles Grisby; long-time companion, Charles Copes (Cherry) of Mappsville, VA; three special bonus children, Carla Harris (Anthony) of Salisbury, MD, Micheal Johnson of Makemie Park, VA, and Devonte Scarborough of Atlantic VA; thirteen bonus grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, bonus children, other relatives, and friends.
