John D.
Burns
June 28, 1956 – August 21, 2023
With hearts of sorrow, The Memorial Funeral Home Staff requests your prayers for the family and friends of
Mr. John D. Burns
John Doe Burns was born to the late Cedric "Preacher" Burns Sr. and Margaret Warren Burns. He worked in Pulpwood & Logging Services until his health got him down to early retirement. He still didn't stop there, he would always have some carpentry project going around the house.
He loved family gatherings, enjoyed playing dominoes, and listening to those old school blues where he beat everyone because he was undefeated, so he say (lol).
He had a "Million Dollar Smile" every time you saw him. A smile that would rub off on you and you will smile too.
He fought a good fight as long as he could, no more pain and suffering and still in the midst of it all he remained "Humble" until he took his last breath when he was called home to be with the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his father Cedric "Preacher" Burns Sr, his brother Gradie Burns, his favorite Uncle JB Warren, and a Special Friend Emma Kirk.
He leaves to cherish his mother Margaret Warren Burns
