Jeffrey “Trapboy
Jay” Early, Jr.
July 9, 1996 – January 19, 2020
"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him." Psalm 127:3
On July 9, 1996, in Monroe, Louisiana, Jeffrey Dehner Early, Sr. and Victoria Vansheryll Palmo received one of their greatest rewards from God, Jeffrey Dehner "JJ" Early, Jr.
The second born of three siblings, JJ resided in Grambling, Louisiana, and was well know near and far. Affectionately called TrapBoy Jay, his personality was one that left a lasting impression with anyone he met. Being the middle child, he kept everyone on their toes, especially his siblings whom he loved dearly.
TrapBoy Jay was not shy about his accomplishments as well as his pride and love for his family and close friends. One of his greatest moments was his graduation from Youth Challenge Program at Camp Minden when he received his GED. With that strong determination he carried, he didn't stop there, he enrolled in Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) where he majored in Criminal Justice. These were great feats for Jeffrey, but his proudest day came in 2016 when he was blessed with his son, his reward from God, his twin, Jeremiah.
Jeffrey's earthly journey ended suddenly on January 19, 2020, yet his name and legacy will never fade. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Louisa Early, paternal grandfather Alvin Early, Uncle Wendell "Dello" Early and his great friend Kemothy "Trell" Starks.
A loving father, caring son, devoted brother and loyal friend, Jeffrey will not be forgotten. The many joyful memories, laughs and overwhelming love he gave will be kept and cherished by his surviving family and friends: son Jeremiah Tra'Vonte Early of Las Vegas, Nevada; parents Jeffrey Dehner Early, Sr. and Victoria Vansheryll Palmo; siblings: Jahniyah Palmo and Jahqueland Early all of Grambling, Louisiana; a very special lady, Jomea Lopez-Bobbitt of Las Vegas, Nevada; Grandparents: Larry Palmo, Sr. of Shreveport and Willie Mae Heard of Ruston, LA; Aunts: Chuntas (Timothy) Bond of San Antonio, TX; Uncles: Michael Early of Dallas, TX and Larry Palmo, Jr and Travis Heard of Grambling, LA along with a wealth of cousins, family and friends.
May his son, Jeremiah, his reward from God carry a light and extend the legacy of his loving dad, beloved son, brother and friend, Jeffrey "TrapBoy Jay" Early.
