On January 7, 1934, God blessed Ulysses Henson, Sr. and Lucy Myers Henson with their third son, Henry "Pott" Henson, the last of five children. Henry (Pott) grew up in the Ringgold Community, where he accepted Christ and became a member of the St. Mary Baptist Church at a very young age.

Henry (Pott) attended Southside High school and often worked at the family farm until graduation.

After graduation, Henry became a laborer especially in the sawmill industry for many years.

Henry never married but had a fondness for family. In his retirement years, he enjoyed a nice cold beer and laughing under his tree or on his porch with his best friends, Truman Mingo and Hector Miles. He was an avid caretaker of his dog Thunder Two.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ulysses Sr and Lucy and siblings Charlie, Walter, and Ruthie.

Henry (Pott) leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Ulysses Henson, Jr. (Jaunice) and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
