Helen White was the 5 ^th child of  eight (8) children born to Will Willis and Gladys Sumlin on April 8, 1937.

She departed this life on Sunday , April 10, 2022

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Washington COGIC, Springhill, Louisiana, until her health failed her.

Helen attended school in the Hopewell Community. She was a CNA at Fountain view Nursing Home for thirty-seven (37) years until she retired.

She was very loved and respected by everyone she met.

Helen was married to Charlie Ray White in 1955, to this union, six (6) children were born.

Her greatest joy was to be around her husband, children and great grand children.

Her parents,  Will and Gladys Willis, Two (2) children, Gary Lynn, Bobby Ray, six (6) siblings, Odell, Marvin, Earl, Johnny, Margie Nell and W.L. Wills and other relatives  preceded her in death.

Helen leaves to rejoice and celebrate her homegoing: husband of sixty-seven (67) years, Charlie Ray White, Springhill, LA; two (2) daughters, Regina (Wayne) Jacobs and Sharon White, both of Springhill, LA; two (2) sons, Timothy White, Danny (Felicia) White, all from Springhill, LA; one (1) sister, Hazel Terrell of Los Angeles, CA; a host of grandchildren, great grand children, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends; a very special cousin/friend, Dorothy Williams, Springhill, LA; a beloved daughter-in-law, Kathleen H. White.
