Obituary

We are honoring the life and legacy of Sis. Felicia Allums Terrell . We pray for comfort and strength for the family and loved ones as we celebrate her life with a pristine service during such a delicate time.

Life and Legacy of


Felicia Diane Allums Golatt Terrell


Felicia was born on April 24, 1978, to the late Irma Jo Allums Golatt and James Golatt.

Felicia attended none other than the great school, the only school in Ringgold, LA Ringgold,
Complex. According to Felicia, her class was the best class at RHS, class of 1996. This is where she
met her forever best friends Kenya, Tiffany, and Shonda. Felicia was very athletic and enjoyed playing
many sports such as basketball, track and field, and cheerleading. She was on the Yearbook Staff, and
a member of FFA, FBLA, and FHA. After high school Felicia wanted to serve her country so she joined the
Army Reserve and served until she was honorably discharged in 2000 to focus on raising her 3
beautiful children.
Felicia united in holy matrimony to Wesley Terrell in July of 2000, to this union 1 son was born.
Felicia and Wesley remained great friends even after their separation. Felicia met her forever love,
Rodney Seamster, in 2011 and they remained together and in love until God called her home on June
4,2023.
Felicia was an amazing mother, fiancée, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, musician, and
facilitator. She knew all the latest line dances and loved to teach them to her family and friends. She
enjoyed helping who she could and making people laugh. Felicia would light up any room she entered,
and she never left without making a friend. She loved her family and loved posing for the camera. One
of Felicia's latest life highlights was beating her son-in-law, Raymond, in a game of basketball.
Felicia gave her life to Christ at an early age joining Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of
Ringgold, LA under the leadership of Rev. Larry Richardson. She had a strong faith and a very
personal relationship with God. Felicia served in the music ministry as the choir pianist for multiple
churches during her lifetime. She served as a musician at her home church, Mt.Zion MBC, until God
called her home. She also served as a musician for Word of Faith AOM.
Felicia was a member of the Lakeside Chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star for years,
following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her mother Irma Golatt, maternal grandmother Rillie Allums,
Maternal Grandfather James Allums, Paternal grandfather Lorie Pierce, Grandson Jaxen Nevels,
special daughter Sharnae Loud, Three uncles Lee Eddie Allums, Kent Golatt, and Vernon Golatt and
one Aunt Cathy A. Fowler.
Felicia is survived by her devoted fiancée Rodney Seamster of Bossier City, La; Her loving
father James A.Golatt of Ringgold, La; Paternal grandmother Irene Golatt of Ringgold, La. Her beloved
daughter LaJamie A. Nevels (Raymond) of Bossier City, La. Her two beloved sons Jordan J. Allums of
Ringgold, La and Bryan D.Terrell of Bossier City, La; 1 Step-Son Brandon J.Lewis (Shaundrieka) of
Plano, Tx; Two step-daughters Quevetta Bell of Bossier City, La and Rodneka Schreiner (Nick) of
Killeen,Tx ; Three sisters Latesha Golatt of Ringgold,La, Conesha Jefferson (Anthony) of Monroe, La,
and Khadijah Carter of Ringgold, La ; One brother Angelo Golatt of St. Gabriel, La. Eight grandchildren
Kyndall, Jazmine, Serenity, Nova, Destin, Destiny, Mia and Sophia. One special daughter Nadia Loud
of Lawton, OK. Two God Daughters Whitney Mingo and Santijah Golatt; Two God-Sons Courtney
Allums and Austin Mingo. Two Aunts Catherine Golatt and Irma Sapp. Three Uncles James Allums,
Donell Golatt Jr. , and Clayton Golatt. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
