Eric "Creek"
Jordan
April 20, 1974 – April 28, 2024
Eric "Creek" Jordan was born April 20th, 1974, to Donnie M. Jordan and Lee Charles Smith. in Monroe, Louisiana,
Reared in Huttig, Eric accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church.
His youthful years were spent with his loving family, attending grade school and playing basketball at Huttig High School. Highlighting his teen years, he graduated from Huttig High School in 1994, making him a proud alumnus.
Creek found his nickname in life while being employed at Foster Farms in 1995. For 29 years, he not only worked, but made lifelong friends over the years.
His life became more complete when he married his forever love, Veronica Williams, in 2001. Their union embraced five children and spent twenty-three blissful years enjoying life and family together.
An athlete at heart, Eric enjoyed watching sports. From his favorite pro team, the San Francisco 49ers to Alabama Crimson Tide and Boston Celtics, he could always be found watching his teams on the screen. But his favorite team, Union Parish Farmers, would never hit the field or court without his support close by.
The loving husband, father, son, brother, friend, and avid sports fan became a first-round draft pick into God's Army on April 28th, 2024. Preceding him in death are his maternal grandfather Shine Hunt, maternal grandmother Precious Jordan, paternal grandparents Henry & Ethel Smith, and Pearson Ford.
