Debra Ann Gipson affectionately known as "Deb," was born on August 21, 1962, to Annie and Nathaniel Gipson. On July 5, 2022, Debra Ann Gipson passed from this world into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Upon her confession of faith in Christ, she was baptized at an early age, accepted into the Springhill CME Church, and remained a member until her death.

Deb graduated from Ringgold High School in 1981 and was a fun-loving person with a beautiful smile and unforgettable laugh. "Mama Deb" as she liked to be called by her grandson, was deeply loved by many. Deb was known for her love of gospel music, playing the blues while sitting in her yard, playing dominos with family and friends, cooking, and planting flowers. Finally, you could always count on her to call her siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends daily.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie B. Gipson; sisters, Eara Love, Wanda Gipson, Elaine Shehee, and Connie Jefferson; one (1) brother, Kevin Gipson; brother-in-law, Henry Stewart and her partner, Turner J. Ashley.

Loved ones that will miss Deb until they meet again are her son, LaMarcus Gipson, Sr. (Danielle) and grandson, LaMarcus Gipson, Jr., all of Keithville, Louisiana; her father, Nathaniel Gipson of Ringgold, Louisiana; two (2) sisters, Thelma Stewart of Houston, Texas and Cathy Mergerson of Los Angeles, California; five (5) brothers, Donnie Gipson and Walter Gipson both of Ringgold, Louisiana and Jerry Gipson, Wade Gipson (Kimberly) and Nathan Gipson (Karla) all of Shreveport, Louisiana; special friend, Mama Keisha; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to Dr. Caroline, her nurses, Rashonda, Liz, Trisha, Melissa, Taylor, and Ashley.
