Bobbie was born June 4, 1945, to Mr. Andy and Mrs. Carrie Osborn Dupree. He was the youngest of nine children. Bobbie departed this life on early Saturday morning October 10 ^th at The Carpenter House hospice center.

Bobbie accepted Christ at an early age and joined the former Collins Chapel Baptist Church.

He was a friendly outgoing man who would help and lend a helping hand to anyone. He was well known in the community. He was an avid hunter and never missed a season in over fifty years. Fishing and gardening were also a passion of his.

Bobbie married the late Janie Mae Nelson in 1966 and to this union, two children were born Bobby Dupree Jr. and Barbara Trammell. In 1975 he married Jessie L. Montgomery and three children were born to this union Anthony Dupree, Fanneka Dupree, and Merkel Dupree. He embraced two others Neshia Stromile and Ladaeshia Washington as his own.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, three brothers: John Henry, Willie, and Andrew, four sisters: Pinkie Long, Pearlie Black, Bertie Wilson, and Catherine Youngblood, and grandson: Antayvious Keshaun "Tink" Dupree.

Bobbie leaves to cherish his memory a wife Jessie, children Bobby Jr., Barbara (Guy), Neshia, Anthony (Shamoindra), Fanneka, Merkela, and Ladaeshia; a sister Bernice Rawls; grandchildren DeWayne, Dominic DJ, Denesha, Noah, Sha'Myia, Kirby III, Kentayvious, Jansen, Ja'Nari, Ka'Tasia Khelin, A'nyia, Kyrence, and Kha'Lani, several nieces and nephews, special friends Ted Stromile, Jerry Moore, Donny Dinkins, and John L. "Tank" Underwood, hunting companions and a host of other friends.
