With hearts of sorrow, The Memorial Funeral Home Staff requests your prayers for the family and friends of
Mrs. Bernice Noble
March 14, 1935 - November 21, 2023
BERNICE STEPHENS NOBLE was gifted to her parents
and the world on March 14, 1935, in the Felt Lake Bottom Road Community in Plain Dealing, Louisiana. The Late Reverend Garfield and Annie Bell Stephens, welcomed their precious girl into their family and hearts, adding much joy to their lives.
Bernice's foundation in Christ began in her early years. At the age of eight, she accepted Christ as her Savior at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church; and was baptized at the age of 10. She remained a faithful member until she transitioned to be with her Lord.
Affectionately called Bunny by her family and close friends, her grade school years were spent at Plain Dealing Stinson School, then graduated from Carrie Martin High School.
Following graduation, she met and later married her soulmate, Londell Noble. The two united in Holy Matrimony on May 18, 1955, sealing their commitment and love to one another.
A few months later, they moved to Muskegon Heights, Michigan, settling in for a life of love and servanthood. While there, Bunny's love for taking care of and serving others led her to a career in the healthcare industry. She worked at Hackley Hospital for 33 years. Returning to their roots, she and her family returned to Plain Dealing in 1988. Bernice continued her career of caring for others while working at nursing facilities in both Vivian and Plain Dealing, Louisiana. She later took her leadership and compassion to the hotel and casino industries, working at the Hilton Hotel for 7.5 years, then The Isle of Capri and Diamond Jack casinos respectably. Her commitment to her exceptional work ethic did not go unnoticed. She received numerous awards including Perfect Attendance at Isle of Capri, where she won a new Honda Accord and trips to Jamaica, Hawaii and Germany.
When she's not spending time with her loving family or serving others, Bunny enjoyed reading, watching her Detroit Pistons and soap operas and eating at one of her favorite restaurants. A loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend. She was called home to be amongst the angels on November 21, 2023, joining her late husband Londell Noble, her son Robert Dell Noble and parents in their eternal home.
Remaining to celebrate and cherish the many wonderful memories of their beloved Bunny are her three daughters: Kathrean Noble Knox, Verna Jean Noble-Reddish and Melba Noble Davison and son, Chimere Levell Noble, Sr. (Zelda), 10 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
